Lita Rossana Ford popularly known as Lita Ford is a British-born American musician, songwriter and guitarist who was the lead guitarist of the all-girl hard rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their music and their rebellious lyrics allowed them to be noticed in the rock world. It wasn't possible for the band to be a major hit in America however, they enjoyed a great deal of popularity in other countries, especially Japan.
